Sketchy Marriage Proposal Rocked

Brooks, a DJ for 100.5 The Drive in Rochester, had an ingenious idea to propose to Dianne via a caricature artist.
“I was trying to think of something different to do [for a proposal], said Brooks, who has dated Dianne for about three years. “She has a love of pictures and things to hang up on the wall so I asked myself ‘What can I do so she has a physical memory of that day?”
Brooks came up with his caricature idea and then got sneaky.

While ALL my guests are famous, I simply couldn’t resist posting this one! Thank you Gerry Szymanski (http://gerryszymanski.com) for the photo taken during one of the many Rochester’s Image Out receptions, held annually at the Ellwanger Estate. Yep, John Waters (https://www.facebook.com/JohnWatersFanPage). He was hilarious and so was his one-man show, “A John Waters Christmas”. The New York Times wrote: “Like a wayward Santa for the Christams obsessed, legendary filmmaker and raconteur John Waters rides into town on his sleigh full of smut (December 2012) spreading yuletide cheer with his critically acclaimed one-man show, A John Waters Christmas”. You just never know who you will meet at the Ellwanger Estate.
