When: Fri­day, August 30 to Sun­day, September1, 2013.  The Spa Week­end kicks off on Fri­day at 7:30pm

Cost: $495 (Per cou­ple) Plus room rate, which varies upon your selection.

Reg­is­tra­tion is required.  PLEASE !! ADD YOUR DUE DATE, YOUR COMPANION’S NAME AND YOUR PROVIDER’S NAME TO THE E MAIL.  Also, please let us know if you would like to sched­ule a  mas­sage (pre­na­tal for moms).

We strongly rec­om­mend that you take your classes 4– 8 weeks prior to your due date.  Please take the time to select this class date care­fully, for which you can com­mit prior to reg­is­tra­tion. NO RESCHEDULING 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CLASS DATE.

Day One

Lunch on your own prior to check­ing in

1 pm-6 pm ~ Early Check-in option at the  Ell­wanger Estate B&B

Din­ner on your own

The social work­shop meets from 7:30 pm — 9:30pm

Dessert served

We will get acquainted with one another,

expe­ri­ence a relax­ation ses­sion which will help enhance your sleep

and have an oppor­tu­nity to “Meet the Mid­wives” with a Q&A session.

The remain­der of the evening is yours … go for a walk in the garden

and spend a relax­ing, roman­tic evening in your room.

Day Two

7:00 am ~ Yoga

8:00 am ~ Break­fast served in the din­ing room

The work­shop meets from 9:00 am — 5:30 pm

Intro­duc­tion of pain cop­ing and breath­ing techniques,

dis­cus­sion of med­ical pro­ce­dures and cesarean birth

plus expe­ri­ence  a real­is­tic labor simulation.

Intro­duc­tion ses­sion to “mindfulness”

Lunch included

Din­ner out on your own.  Enjoy the Gar­den District!

Day Three

8:00 am ~ Break­fast served in din­ing room

The work­shop meets from 9:00 am– 11:45 am

You will have time to enjoy breakfast

and/or go for a walk in the gar­den before the work­shop begins, and have the option of a 1 pm late check-out.

This day’s work­shop will include a review of the tech­niques, Baby care Skills, and Prepar­ing to Breast­feed, water­birth infor­ma­tion, cre­ation of your Birth Plan and

 expe­ri­ence a labor dress rehearsal
